My blog is about Compania Maritima (Building) and is located near the east coast of south road properties (SRP). You see this building a lot when you go to Santo Nino and when you enter or exit the bridge near there.
The Compania Maritima (Building) is characterized as neoclassical, which was typical of the
structures constructed during the American colonization.
This was built in 1910 and was known at that time as Fernando Building and was one
of the first buildings constructed in the port area, and by the 1930s this was turned into Shamrock hotel and now Compania Maritima

People should be aware of this building and how it is actually a pretty old building with
history and not just some random run down old building.
This place was once a hotel in 1910 over a hundred years ago look at it now. It was one of the first buildings constructed in the city's port area, and was known by different names throughout its history: Fernando Building and Shamrock Hotel before the war, and
currently Compania Maritima
So yeah it is a pretty old building 109 years old so yeah it is pretty old and even survived
the bombing and to be completely honest it is pretty obvious that the
old building looked better than today now it looks pretty worn down.
The roof is missing and the walls are crumbling. The government has been neglecting this for a
long time now even though it is a heritage site
Look at the interior
It is a literal dumpsite full of trash.
This place was once a hotel full of life now look at it now it has been neglected and is
not in a good shape you can tell from just a glance.
The buildings around it though are pretty well kept and clean compared to this.
This building stands out a a lot cause of it's size and also because of how it looks
Though to be honest the exterior of the building looks pretty decent from a far and not
too close that you can see it properly.
So yeah this place should be taken care of cause it is a pretty old building
and a good piece of history. People should be more aware of these things even though
they are in ruins or at least is being neglected they should still care
because it is a piece of history that should not be forgotten.
